Finding your voice and direction: 3 vidoes on writing

by

We know that there are many more women writers than 3 decades ago. However doing a search on youtube, sometimes the list comes up short.

Above, the videos will give you much to thin about. If you listen write down several questions that would apply to your writing. Inspiration may emerge from the most mundaneor ordinary settings. Add some imagination. Do you carry an old fashioned notebook? Are you the investigative journalist, keeping ideas or observations to help you solve your mystery?

Some might collect text message to chronicle a new world held fast by youth and families. Secret short messages sculpting the world and relationships of an electronic community.

How do approach opportunity? Work? Writing? What do you need to do to build your career? Your Dreams? Perhaps listening to these videos may broaden your perspectives. Is it time to be bold and spread your wings?

Send me your thoughts, and what you are doing with your work.

“Because being a good woman will bring you happiness, and I am a good woman.” Great quote listen to the video.

Hmmm…the speaker says, “I knew there was a book in this, so I had better write it before someone else did.” This is a great way to make your writing more immediate, and creates an urgency to write, to take the chance that they can get the job done.

So this blog wandered a bit because I began listening about the factory women in China. However, there is much to learn about journalism, how to interview and to discover the story with another culture. Imagine if you treated your town or city as a foreign culture and you were the one collecting the stories that need so much to be told. Here are steps to feed your journey. Step forward and do write!
