Sole Survivors: journey across borders
This one-woman play is written and performed by Michelle Vest and directed by Tanya Taylor Rubinstein with live music by Mariachi Sonidos del Monte. Runs through August 1 in conjunction with Still Falls, an exhibit of diptychs and single canvases in acrylic by Vest.

First Annual New Latino Play Series
Volver, Volver, Volver by playwright Leonard Madrid explores one man’s regret as he returns home after his life has ended. Jose Garcia Davis directs and performs in El Diablo y 40 Gallinas (The Devil and 40 Chickens), a tale about the devil and a daring chicken heist in Bernalillo, NM.

Passenger on the Ship of Fools
An insider’s look into the fascinating, controversial and largely unknown life of Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Katherine Anne Porter. If you know her only from the famous film based on her novel, Ship of Fools, this play–selected as best new New Mexican Play of 2009 by the Vortex Theatre–will bring you a world of surprise, laughter, tears and tremendous insight into the story of this major 20th century writer. Runs through August 9 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays 6pm. Pay-What-You-Will night is Sunday, July 26 and Talkback on Sunday, August 2.
