Writing has enthralled me since I was 7 years old. My second grade teacher introduced me to poetry and that’s when I began to write. I was so curious, I kept writing more poems that day, and she finally said,”Go back to writing normal now, Mary”.

In High school I discovered Ray Bradbury. I had read little Science Fiction at that itme. He opened another door to imagination and the well crafted word. We can travel so far in these these realms.

I found this video intriguing. Please listen to his story. How often we let ourselves be defeated by not floolowing through, or lack of persistancy. Perhaps you are the next Ray Bradbury. Perhaps you are the next great book reviewer. Whatever your dream: embellish it. Pursue it.

Each time you have completed a project, be proud. Send it out and share with friends. Cherish it. We can now publish online, and let the world see our works. Who knows whom you may inspire. Could you also double stories sold per year?

I tell you it feels good to be paid for my writing. It feels better to be able to prioritize time to write. I can expand these skills in so many directions. I can reach out to you and others and be supportive on your journeys. Do send me your words. Your dreams. However, most of all write! Contact me here or at twitter.com/Makkinart
